Cassandra or Flegra for others is the first peninsula of Halkidiki on the west side. Formerly they were also called Pallini. Kassandria took its name from King Kassandros of Macedonia, who built the city in the islet of today's Kassandra. Kassandria is one of the most beautiful and touristic places in Halkidiki.
