The Sporades islands are known as the jewels of the Aegean presenting a major interest for their natural beauty and historical events. The name Sporades, meaning “scattered” was given by their geographical location, as they remain scattered in the North Aegean. According to the archaeological evidence, the islands are inhabited from the Palaeolithic era but the first settlers arrived in Kokkinokastro in Alonissos. All the islands, Skiathos island, Skopelos island, Alonissos island and Skyros flourished economically when they were inhabited by the Minoans and this lasted until the Mycenaean period.
During classical antiquity, Sporades was an ally with the Athenians and in the Byzantine years they were used as place of exile and suffered from pirates invasions. Throughout the years, they met the Venetian occupation.
Today they are part of Thessaly region and regional unity of Magnesia.

Security deposit

Security deposit is payable upon check-in at the boat base. When chartering with a captain, a security deposit is generally not required and if requested will be refundable provided no damage occurs during your stay on board. When renting without a captain, the security deposit will be refundable at check-out provided there is no loss or damage to the boat.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CHARTER
Charters begin at 17:00hrs and end at 9:00hrs. Mandatory, the yacht must return in the base the day before, the latest at 18:00hrs
Insurance: The yachts are properly covered with hull and third party liability for charter business.
The client’s liability is limited to the amount of security deposit, unless the cause of damage is gross negligence or an intentional act.
Payment:
- 50% of charter price at time of booking
- remaining 50% of charter price 60 days before charter.
Cancelation policy: The cancellation fee applies as follows:
Less than 30 days before charter: 100% of total charter price.
Between 30 and 60 days before charter: 50% of total charter price.
60 days or more before charter: 30% of total charter price.
BAREBOAT SAILING LICENSE REQUIREMENT
In Greece when chartering a bareboat yacht, according to the port authorities’ requests, the client must provide original sailing certificate/license, (in English language or officially translated).
Certificates for motor yachts, dayskipper or sailing on day-light only, weather limitations are not accepted from the Port Authorities.

- Browse the website and find, or destination, or boat or set travel dates. The system allows you to set only available dates in the calendar. If you wish, select optional services or captain if not mandatory, check the cost on the trip form and Click send to confirm. At no charge you will receive email updates about the trip you have chosen. You will only be charged if the reservation is accepted and paid for.
- You will receive a new email from the owner confirming the availability of the vessel. Click on the form you received to book online, instantly charging your account with the rental cost. The deadline for payment is 24 hours.You do not have to register, with your payment the company automatically creates your account.
- If your reservation is made within 30 days prior to departure, pay the full amount of the rent. Otherwise, you will immediately pay the deposit and payout 30 days before departure. The amount of rent paid by you is only for the price of the boat, so discounts or offers follow this price. All extras, captain, guarantee or APA are paid upon check-in to the owner upon completion of the reservation Prices include VAT.
- Please note that in the list of benefits below, the extra charge (per person *), except for one person charged on the voyage form, the remaining charges will be calculated by the boat owner at check in for those who request it.
